School Attendance Maps & Elementary Boundaries

Families with school-age children often rely a lot on attendance maps when it comes to figuring out where to buy their next home, and they should. Depending on where they buy will determine the school in which the child will attend.

Remember that schools or their districts can do two things that can foil even the best research:

1. Change the dividing lines between jurisdictions. The children who once attended one particular school will now attend another because boundaries have been changed.
2. Enter into an overflow status, a waiting list (lottery) that forces children to attend a relatively nearby school instead of the intended school. They will then attend that school for a period of time.

This table below contains attendance maps. For example, if you click on "Click here for WHS Attendance Map" below, a color overlay map of a portion of Fremont will open up on your image browser. Elementary school areas are color coded. Only major streets are named. The city of Newark has their own maps as well, so just click the link below and you will be directed to the maps.
